Aaron Kahn is one of the founding members of the NW Biodiesel Network. He has been working with the group since the formation in early 2003.

I am a passionate advocate for things that I believe in (a loudmouth), and have been excited about biodiesel since 2002. We bought our first VW TDI, to use B100, in August of 2002- and the second in December 2002. (We sold the Golf in 2003- my partner felt better about the bus, as this lessens her environmental impact even more!) Our household has been petroleum-free since 12/2002!

The growth of the NW Biodiesel Network, as well as the use of biodiesel, has been very exciting to see. It is very satisfying to feel that, as one small individual, I am able to make an impact in my world. The "Big Oil" industry has so many negatives, that it is liberating to be free (kinda) from its grasp.

As a group, we are able to leverage our few hours here and there into making a real difference- please join us!

Martial Arts, Pitbull Rescue, Gardening, "Green" building, Advanced Transportation Choices, Community Building and Organizing, and my work. I'm a real estate agent with Windermere NW/Inc, in the city of Seattle, and help my clients all over Seattle. My excitement about education and advocacy translates into great service for my clients. (though they may hear more than they care about things that I care about- see above!)
