I first heard about biodiesel in the spring of 2004 while I was looking for an alternative fuel vehicle. I still do not have that vehicle, but I am learning and sharing information about biodiesel with everyone I know and anyone who will listen. Hopefully, my enthusiasm will moderate.

Meanwhile, I am encouraging any cooperative ventures and researching possibilities for my part in biodiesel in Skagit County. Work needs to be done to make biodiesel use and production, on a small local scale, accepted by the general public and by local government. Sustainability and full use of by-products (waste, to some) are important goals.

Thank you to the Northwest Biodiesel organization for providing a forum for sharing information and experience. Brave Souls.
