I got interested in BD as a way to lower the impact of my 50 mile round-trip commute from Seattle to Issaquah. This also helped me emerge from a low emotional state following the war and the election. I was formerly involved in writing software for Oil Exploration (was actually a Halliburton employee for a short time!), so I've seen that side of the world, too. Happy to be running a mostly petro-free vehicle.
I also play music (mostly old southern Appalachian and Louisiana Cajun varieties), and go out and spy on wildlife occasionally.
