Summary BioDiesel user and advocate

2005.01.18

I discovered biodiesel during personal research into alternative fuels in 2003. At the time I was playing with an old BMW gasser that I had built from the ground-up. Finally, I decided in mid 2004 that it was time to take the plunge, and I purchased a 2005 VW Jetta Wagon TDI. I have been using mostly B100 ever since, except for a couple of tanks this winter where I added a gallon or two of petrol to protect against gelling.

I currently live in Redmond and work in downtown Seattle. I acquire my biodiesel through Dr. Dan's Right now I visit their location in Ballard, but previously I also stopped at a partner station in Bellevue.

I am in love with biodiesel and the benefits it can bring all of us!

I'm also excited about Northwest Biodiesel, which I discovered today!

10,000 miles and still going strong!

15,000 millas y no problemas

2006.03.13

I'm now at 25,000+ miles without a hitch. I'm very excited about this weekend's GTG. See you all there!

BTW, I'm getting my fuel at the Grange in Issaquah now. I love Dan's, but this station is just much closer to my home. Here is a map and photos .
