Hi Folks,

I drive an '83 Mercedes Benz Diesel on B100 with a Vegetable Oil Conversion Kit so I can also run WVO (waste veggie oil). I pick up my WVO from my local QFC in the same 5 gal totes they get it in. I take it home, filter it and pour it in the auxillary conversion tank. So far I have experienced a few problems with fuel filters plugging up sooner than expected, but other than that it has been Real fun driving the Benz on B100 and WVO.

It all began with my sweetheart wanting to get into this BioDiesel stuff. One thing led to another. I got excited about going the whole way - to run WVO as fuel but found little to "no" local information, so I started a coop of sorts. Mostly it is just a form for local Puget Sound folks interested in WVO to share comments, ideas, resources and generally help each other through the process to use WVO. It is called grease2go and is an email forum at topica.com.

My son got so excited about all this he is now making WVO conversion tanks. You can check out his progress at:
